Pam recently completed a very distinguished career in
civil rights and human resources within Federal service. She has
also held a high-ranking civil rights position in the academic community.
An overview of Pam’s professional experience includes the
following: Equal Employment Manager, The American University, Washington,
DC; Foreign Service Recruiter, U.S. State Department; and College
Relations Specialist, U.S. Government Accounting Office. Most recently
during the course of Pam’s long tenure with the U.S. Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”), she encumbered
several key positions. These positions included: Senior Systemic
Investigator; Agency Disability Employment Program Manager, Office
of Human Resources; and Senior Equal Employment Specialist/Program
Analyst.
While employed with the EEOC, Pam provided a broad range of consultative
and advisory services to Federal Agencies on how to establish and
maintain effective affirmative employment and disability employment
programs. She was an invited guest speaker at many national equal
employment conferences and workshops geared towards employers. She
was a much sought-after speaker and presenter due in part to her
role as lead Analyst in conducting on-site reviews of employer affirmative
employment and disability programs. Pam’s expertise was vital
in assisting agencies to maintain compliance with EEOC Management
Directives 714 and 715, 29 C.F.R. 1614, the Rehabilitation Act,
Executive Orders, Enforcement Guidance and other related laws.
The broad professional experience that Pam brings to equal employment
and human resources has been invaluable to employers. It has helped
employers to address and solve many of the day-to-day workplace
problems and barriers that they face. In 2004, Pam’s professionalism
was recognized by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission when
it awarded her one of the Commission’s most coveted awards.
Pam’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree
from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North
Carolina. She also completed a certification program at the University
of Lille in Lille, France. In addition, Pam has completed a large
number of equal employment and human resources courses to remain
current in her field. She is a native of Washington, DC and has
traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad. Pam’s
personal interests include: golf, gourmet cooking and reading.
She is committed to provide employers and staff with training,
consultative services in affirmative employment analysis, personal
coaching and on-site customized training. Pam believes that training
should be geared to meet the workplace culture and needs of each
