Moore & Associates was formed by Mr. Greg Moore (CEO) because of the need for
a firm to tell it like it is. He has trained thousands of human resource
professionals, both managers and executives, in both the public and private
business environment, with great success. He is a certified Mediator with
many successful mediations behind, and ahead, of him. He has made successful
presentations at such notable conferences such as Federally Employed Women
(FEW), Blacks in Government (BIG), the National Diversity Symposium, and the
FPMI HR/EEO Symposium. His successes are recognized throughout the world, as
he has trained, mediated, counselled and provided advisory services
throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.

About Gregory |
GREGORY A. MOORE is the Principal of Moore & Associates. Moore & Associates
provides Consulting, Training, Equal Employment Opportunity Counseling,
Mediation Services and Diversity Coordinators for all issues relating to
Human Resources Management and Equal Employment Opportunity.
Greg is the former Equal Employment Manager for the Defense Contract Management District - West. He provided guidance and direction on all EEO
matters to the Command, 13 district offices and 16 contractor plants located
in 29 different locations throughout the western United States, servicing
over 4,800 employees and managers. He developed policy and regulations to
implement the Command's EEO programs, including managing the discrimination
complaints program, developing and publishing the Affirmative Employment Plan
(AEP), providing leadership and guidance to all Special Emphasis Program
Managers (SEPM) and committees, developing and presenting EEO training
programs, and managing the Alternative Dispute Resolution program.
He was formerly a Senior Trainer for the Defense Equal Opportunity Management
Institute (DEOMI) at Patrick AFB, Florida. He was the program manager for all
EEO counselor courses providing training to DoD professionals in many
Department of Defense agencies, and non-DoD agencies, on three continents. He
was a member of the DEOMI Mobile Training team tasked by the Secretary of
Defense to provide Senior Leader EO Training to all General Officer, Flag
Officer, and new Senior Executive Service (SES) members in DoD.
He was co-coordinator for the Pilot EEO Program Manager Course and the Pilot
EEO Specialist Course, participating in all course offerings between 1994 and
1997. He has made presentations and conducted workshops at national
conferences such as: Blacks in Government (BiG), Federally Employed Women
(FEW), Federal Dispute Resolution Conference, Defense Finance and Accounting
Service ADR Pilot Workshop, FPMI HR/EEO Conference in Tampa, FPMI Diversity
Symposium in San Diego, and DLA Special Emphasis Program Managers Workshops
to name a few.
While serving as Chief EEO Counselor for Scott AFB, Illinois, Greg advised
the command staff on EEO activities, represented the command in related
community activities, and supported three different Major Commands including
one joint service command, USTRANSCOM. During this period, Mr. Moore, a
certified Mediator, introduced Alternative Dispute Resolution to the EEO
program, conducting over 90 mediations between 1991 and 1993 with an
excellent record in resolutions. He was selected as the Military Airlift
Command Most Outstanding Complaints Manager for 1992.
Mr. Moore joined the federal civil service in 1988 following a distinguished
22-year military career. During his 22 years of active military service in
the Air Force, Mr. Moore's specialties included Cost and Real Property
Accounting, Recruiting, and Manpower Management. His military decorations
include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal (2), Defense Commendation
Medal, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal (2), and the Air Force
Commendation Medal (2). His awards include the Defense Logistics Agency
Meritorious Civilian Service Award in April 1999, and the United States Air
Force Civilian Meritorious Service Medal in January 1997. Following his Air
Force career, Mr. Moore was a Management Analyst for the Illinois Commerce
Commission conducting comprehensive management audits on utility companies
operating in the state.
Mr. Moore holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Southern
Illinois University at Edwardsville, a Master's Degree in International
Relations from Troy State University and a Bachelor's degree in Business and
Political Science from the University of the State of New York . He has
served as adjunct faculty for many colleges teaching Human Resource
Management, Personnel Management, International Relations, and Political
Science. He is a graduate of the Department of Defense Executive Leadership
Development Class of 1997. Mr. Moore is a member of the Board of Advisors
for Finally It Fits, an organization dedicated to promoting fully accessible
clothing for persons with disabilities. |
