A half day training session.
Background: The NO FEAR Act of 2002 (The Notification and Federal
Employee Anti-Discrimination and Retaliation) requires managers
and supervisors to have training to reduce the probability of
claims having an impact on both an organization's mission and
budget. This ½ -day interactive training session is designed
for managers and supervisors to update their knowledge, skills,
and abilities in the rights and responsibilities arena. Understanding
each and every avenue of redress is a must for today's manager
to remain abreast of the drastic changes that occur in employee
rights. Managers and Supervisors too often are not given the
tools to fully understand all avenues available, therefore constantly
defending their decisions to external reviewing officials. Take
charge and know not only the what, but the why, and seek strategies
to continue to do the right thing for the right reason, in the
right circumstances.
The Managers and Supervisors Quik Reference Checklist provides
a tool that allows all to be more aware of those rights and
responsibilities, while providing tips to navigate many alternatives
to EEO that are available.
Who should attend: Designed for all levels of supervisors,
team leaders, managers, directors and senior executives. This
course has proven to be very effective for senior and mid-level
military managing civilian employees
